Obituary of Herman Banzer
Herman Banzer, a resident of Chetwynd, B.C. passed away after losing his battle with cancer with his children by his side on Sunday, March 4, 2012. in Chetwynd, at the age of 72 years.
Herman was predeceased by his loving wife Sally Belle Banzer, His Father Marzel, Mother Maria, Brother Bruno, Nephew Leslie Pratt, Brothers-in-Law Colin, Dave & Ray Nichols and Niece Pauline McMillan. He is survived by his Children David (Wendy), and Sharla, his grandchildren Melissa & Westley Lunge and Samantha & Victoria Andrews, and Desiree, Chantal, & Brandon Fournier, great grandchildren Avery Fournier, and Landon Mcneal, Sister Anita (Pat) Pratt, Brother Erick (Barb) Best Friend Rejeanne Fournier, Jinny (Derek) Bruno (Lorretta) and many nieces & nephews, family & friends.
A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Peace Christian School/SDA church (OldDokieSchool) at 3:00 pm. There was a short Convoy after the service with a luncheon to follow at the Peace Christian School. We are requesting as many Truckers as possible to join in the convoy(Tractors only no trailers).
For friends so wishing donations may be made in memory of Herman to the Palliative Care Unit of the Chetwynd General Hospital.
