Obituary of Gordon Lloyd Durocher
Gordon Lloyd Durocher a long time resident of Dawson Creek, B.C., passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012 in Dawson Creek at the age of 78 years.
A wake was held on Wednesday, December 12, at 6:00 pm, at the Nawican Friendship Centre, Dawson Creek, B.C.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 11:00 am, at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Fr. Michael Anyasoro officiated, Interment will be at a later date.
Gordon has gone to join his loving parents; Harvey and Julia Durocher, loving wives; Eliza (Hamelin) and Marie (Larocque), beloved brothers; Gus, Henry, Robert and Frank, adoring sisters; Louise and Pauline, beloved children; Norma Durocher and Frank Chalifoux and cherished granddaughter Elizabeth Durocher.
Gordon leaves to mourn his sons; Kaz Durocher, Ross Durocher, Daughters; Wilma (Garnet) Pronyshyn, Laura (Vince)Horseman, Shirley Masotti, Sister; Adele Mildenberger, Brother; Alfred Durocher, Stepson; Jason Larocque, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many special friends.
