Obituary of Ose Marie South
Ose Marie South passed away May 22, 2014 after a long struggle with Parkinson's disease. She was 88 years old. Marie was born the summer of 1926 in Norway. As the youngest of eight children she was doted on by all. Marie met her husband Ernie at a dance, where the courage it took to ask her out on the dance floor certainly paid off. They were married for almost 61 years. Together they raised their daughter Carolyn and son Gordon. Marie had a special talent for making a house feel like a home. There were always tea and cookies ready for any visitor. Marie had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, camping, picking berries and photography. She also loved animals and spoiled her pets terribly. Playing games was also a favourite pastime. Marie highly valued family and eventually her children gave her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arrangements were entrusted to Bergeron Funeral Services & Crematorium Ltd.
