Obituary of Evelyn Bonk
Evelyn Bonk, a long time resident of Dawson Creek, B.C. passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014 in Dawson Creek at the age of 93 years.
Evelyn was born April 6, 1921 in Oxbow Saskatchewan, to Albert and Ruby Johnson.
In the 1940's Evelyn moved to Vancouver working in an aircraft factory as well as in a laundry business. Evelyn married Doug Bonk and in the mid 1950's they travelled north making their home in Dawson Creek.
A memorial service was held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm from Reynars Funeral Chapel, Reverend Tim Johnson officiated.
Evelyn was predeceased by her parents; Albert and Ruby Johnson.
Evelyn is survived by her loving husband of 58 years; Doug, Son; Wayne (Diane)Hasler,Grandchildren; Sandy, Barry and Val, Great-grandchildren; Cynthia, Rebecca, Sierra, Danielle, Hersey, Soleil, Jhurnee, and Ceylon, Great-great grandchildren; Liam and Presley.
