Obituary of Robert Frederick Harbottle

Loving husband to Marian Harbottle; dear father to Sandra Harbottle and Jeffrey (Laura) Harbottle, and ex son in-law Rob Nielson; dear grandpa to Erik and Trent Nielson, Lalayna, Kliya and Kye Harbottle; brother to Anne (Bud) Lee, Kathleen (Gino) Drew, Delle (Caz) Nizman, Rhoda (Don) Beasant and Jane Cousins; brother in-law to Gary (Crystal) Mack, Carol (Bob) Unchulenko, Mardell (Ken) Mack, and Glenda Mack; uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Bob Spent 25 years in the RCMP and was posted in Vancouver Town Station, Richmond, Powell River, Kamloops and Dawson Creek before retiring in 1989. The following two years, he drove for Scott's Water Service. He then spent many years house-sitting for numerous neighbors. His lawn was his pride and joy. Bob is predeceased by parents Fred and Iola Harbottle, sister Denise, mother and father in-law Rose and Herman Mack. Bob passed away on August 25, 2014 at 74 years of age after battling cancer. He was born June 17, 1940 in New Westminster, British Columbia. The family would like to thank Dave and Nancy Ossinger, Jack and Jodi Hingley, and Trevor and Jessica O'Dwyer for their help and support as well as the many friends who called, brought food, flowers and condolences.
