Obituary of Eula Blanche Shadow
Eula Blanche Shadow passed away peacefully with her family at her side at McKinney Place Extended Care, Oliver B.C. on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the age of 90. Predeceased by former husbands, Norman Withrow and James Shadow; lovingly remembered by children, Shirley (Pat Conley), Donna Halbert, Randy Withrow (Karen), Larry Withrow (Sheila) and Dan Withrow (Penny); survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter, Dianna (1977); son-in-law, Ted Halbert; grandson, Brent Halbert; brothers, Percy and Dwight; sisters, Jessie and Margaret.
Eula spent many years as a desk clerk at the Twin Pine Motor Inn. She loved listen to her children sing and play and enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, dancing, camping and fishing.
A gathering of family and friends will take place at Heritage Heights at a future date. As an expression of sympathy donations to McKinney Place Extended Care, 911 McKinney Road, Oliver, B.C. V0H 1T0 would be appreciated by the family.
