Obituary of Deane Armour

Deane was born May 23, 1955 in Bath, New Brunswick. He passed away on October 28, 2014 in Fort Nelson, British Columbia at 59 years of age. Dean was never a still man. He was a traveler from the day he was born, exploring every road, bend and trail. At the age of 17 or 18, Dean had already made his way across Canada to British Columbia for his first visit of many, resting his hat in Vancouver for a spell. Dean eventually returned home and met Meredith Biggar, made a home and started a beautiful family and roots of his own. Being a provider and family man kept Dean quite busy with five children, four living. The house was never quiet. Dean loved chaos. He would aggravate anyone who would stand there and take it. The best part was he would take the back lash in stride and smile from ear to ear. Dean worked in cabinet making and woodwork for his own small business, worked some in the woods until his accident 21 years ago. He worked with Stephen Armour at Armours Meat Shop in Beechwood, New Brunswick. His time in BC was spent working, first for Skinner Bros., driving propane trucks and flat decks, and ended his days working at Peace Country Petroleum. When Dean wasn't working he spent every free minute catching up with family. In the past three years Brandon, Naomi and Catrina and even Corey ventured their way west in their fathers foot steps to share the dream. Living west for the last three years, Dean tried to stay close with family members via Facebook and phone calls. He loved to stay connected with everyone and tried to attend every family gathering and function. Dean's family remember him as a kind hearted and loving man always there with love and support at a time of need, helping any way he could. Dean was a favorite uncle and a good friend. He was loved and is missed by all! Dean was predeceased by his parents, Leona Demerchant Armour and Cecil Oakes, and by his son Tyler Armour.
