Obituary of Jeffrey William "Jeff" Borodula

Jeffrey William Borodula, age 33 years was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on June 10, 1981. He was adopted at the age of 2 years and 9 months by his parents Walt and Colleen Borodula of Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Jeff spent his teenage years in Vernon, British Columbia, and graduated from Kalamalka Secondary School. Although Jeff has been living in Lethbridge, Alberta for many years, he was planning to move to Medicine Hat, Alberta to live with the love of his life Brittney Banks, and her daughter Natalie. As well as his parents, Jeff is survived by his sister Emily Borodula of Red Deer, her three sons Darrien, Tristyn, and Madden, and his grandmother Shirley Conner of Vancouver. Jeff is also survived by a son from a previous relationship named Aiden. He was not able to see Aiden but always held a special spot in his heart for him. Jeffrey leaves numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly. Jeff worked for most of his adult life in the hospitality industry where he made many good friends. In September he started working as a pipeline labourer near Dawson Creek. He missed "his girls" in Medicine Hat, but was working hard to start a new life for them. Jeff had a very sunny personality, and a wonderful sense of humour. Many people have commented on his magical laughter. We were all very fortunate to be a part of Jeff's all too short journey in life Cremation will take place in Dawson Creek. There will be a Celebration of Life for Jeffrey on his birthday June 10, 2015 in Kelowna, British Columbia. His urn will be interred in Kelowna near his grandparents Frank and Irene Searle, formerly of Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1000 - 105th Ave, Dawson Creek, British Columbia, V1G 2B9 or the South Peace SPCA, 637 - 114th Ave, Dawson Creek, British Columbia, V1G 3A1.
