Obituary of Judy Diane Wiebe

Judy Wiebe, a resident of Dawson Creek, B.C. passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in Dawson Creek, at the age of 54 years. Judy was born on June 12, 1960 in Edmonton, AB at the Royal Alex Hospital to Don and Marie Robinson. She was the 6th child of 11 children. She was very adventurous, outgoing, spontaneous, talented person who could never say no and was always up for a challenge or a new adventure. She was an avid water and snow skier, a long distance runner, biker, and she loved to do photography and knitting. Going to school with Judy when we were young, was so much fun. When we went to Seba Beach, we did everything that the boys did- climbed trees, played with frogs, and even learned how to play poker at a young age. In 1969 the Robinsons moved from Seba Beach to Rycroft, and then settled in Sundre, AB. Judy graduated from Sundre High in 1979 where from there her new adventure started. She was in Jasper for a while and slowly worked her way up to Dawson Creek. Judy loved life and when talking with her she was always happy. Judy met Frank in 1990 and they both had a spontaneous life. They got married on September 17th, 1994 in Sicamous, BC. Judy and Frank had a beautiful daughter, Katy May on April 17, 1992. She loved her little girl and was always proud of her. Judy was a very ambitious woman, who was always working. She ran and managed numerous restaurants throughout AB & BC and in Dawson Creek her last love was her second hand store, which she has been running for a number of years. She was a very caring and giving person which is an awesome trait in a person. This world needs more people like that. Judy you were a remarkable person in many ways that you weren't even aware of. You were a great mother, daughter, cousin and friend and you are going to be missed dearly. She leaves behind her Dad; Don, Mother; Marie, Husband; Frank, Daughter; Katy, and numerous Brothers, Sisters, Cousins, Aunts and Uncles. She will be joining her Mom; Lil, Auntie; Helen, Sister; Nance and Cousins and Grandparents. Judy you will always be missed and fondly remembered. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 1:00 pm from Reynars Funeral Chapel, Pastor Gary Henderson officiated, interment followed in the Brookside Cemetery, Dawson Creek, B.C.
