Obituary of Daniel Scheck
Daniel (Dan) Scheck, lifetime resident of Dawson Creek, and longtime employee of Wright's Food Services, passed away February 19, 2015 at 53 years of age. Dan was born October 9, 1961, the 4th of 5 children, to Ray and Phyllis Scheck Dan was predeceased by his parents, Ray & Phyllis, brothers Gordon and Vince, and his first wife Shirley. Dan is survived by his wife Lorrie; step children Tyler, Amanda, Michele (Eric) and their daughter Valla; sisters Fran (Len), and Jacquie (Elden); nieces and nephews Christina (JP), Lisa (Darcy), Erik (Celina), Warren, Rachel (Jeremiah), and Keri (Jon); great-nieces and nephews Nicholas, Joseph, Samuel, Lukas, Sasha, Riley, Hayden and Alexis. Dan will be remembered by his life-long friend, Mike Kroonen, whom Dan thought of as a brother, and Mike's sons Chauncey and Taylor. A private family service and burial will be held at a later date.
Expressions of sympathy may be made on Dan's behalf to the Canadian Diabetes Society. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Dawson Creek Hospital for their care and compassion, and Bergeron Funeral Home for their assistance.
