Obituary of Lucy Christine Embree
Lucy Embree, a resident of Chetwynd, B.C. passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015 in Chetwynd at the age of 92 years. Lucy was predeceased by her first husband Kenneth Fredrick Ross and her second husband Donald R. Embree, her son Donald Allen Ross, her parents Alexander and Emily Jones, and her two sisters and one brother. Lucy is survived by her three sons: Kenneth Ross, James Ross, and Ian Ross, her daughter Hazel (nee Ross) Collins, along with thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In keeping with Lucy's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Interment will be at a later date. Lucy was born on December 22, 1922 in Turtleford, Saskatchewan. She moved to B.C. in 1956. Lucy's hobbies included knitting, crochet, and sewing. She kept busy teaching ceramic classes, which she enjoyed.
