Obituary of Kathryn Thorbergson
Kathy Thorbergson 1961-2015 Kathryn (Kathy) Johanna Nielson Thorbergson passed away at home with the love and support of her family in Dawson Creek at the age of 54. Born in Pouce Coupe on Mar 5, 1961 to George and Nola Nielson, Kathy was known for her singing, infectious laugh and big heart. She was a member of the BC Choir, performed at various events and later, joined the Potluck Singers. Kathy volunteered with several groups and was a valued union member. She married her husband, David in 1986. A devoted mother, she was very proud of her children and cheered all their successes. She loved the yearly camping trip with her extended family. She is survived by husband, David; children, Tyler, Karrlee and Brad-Lee; grand-daughter, Cleste and brothers, Larry and Robert. Kathy was predeceased by her parents and her siblings Charlene and Douglas. A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Dawson Creek Alliance Church, Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Officiated by Bev Dunsmore.
