Obituary of Margaret Helen Herba

Margaret Herba, a long time resident of Dawson Creek, B.C. passed away on June 23, 2015 in Dawson Creek at the age of 90 years. Marg was born on September 17, 1924 in Medicine Hat, Alberta to Charles and Ema Smith. She became part of the Dawson Creek Royal Canadian Legion and remained an active member for many years. Marg was also very active in politics and thoroughly enjoyed the years she worked with Jay Hill. One of her favorite things was an opal ring, a gift from her daughter Margie, who said "Pretty ladies should have pretty things". Marg would like her friends to remember her for her incredibly sharp mind in her old age and her outspokenness, especially when it came to politics. She was never shy about sharing her opinion in all things. She left a message for her friends, and all who knew her, "Just remember, I love you all and my wish is that God will be as good to you as he has been to me". Marg was predeceased by her parents, siblings, husband, and beloved children; Margie and Robbie. She leaves behind many friends. Cremation services were held at Reynars Crematorium. Interment will be at a later date. Very Respectfully Reynars Funeral Home & Crematorium
