Obituary of Brendon William Roy Strong

Brendon Strong, a lifelong resident of Dawson Creek, B.C. left us on Sunday, August 16, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 17 years. A Wake was held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 7:00 pm at the Nawican Friendship Centre. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Notre Dame Catholic Church. Fr. Louis Kwena officiated, Interment followed in the Brookside Cemetery. Brendon's shining spirit lives on in his parents; Roy Blanchard and Gloria Lambert, mother; Florence Strong, brothers; Kendal Strong, Jody Hambler, Shawn Hambler, Mitchel Kennedy, sisters; Crystal Strong, (Ronny Ewe), Shannon Strong, Jamie Strong, Alandrea Strong and Amanda (William) Field, grandmother; Alice Strong, girlfriend; Hailey Ortman, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family, and many special friends. Brendon has gone to join his paternal grandparents; William & Irene Blanchard and maternal grandfather; Elmo Cardinal.
