Obituary of Regina Loiselle

Regina Loiselle, a long time resident of Dawson Creek, B.C. passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2015 in Dawson Creek at the age of 91 years. Regina Loiselle (nee Wangler) was born on July 18, 1924 in Leader, Saskatchewan. Regina left Leader along with her parents and siblings in 1930 by horse and wagon and settled in Willow Valley in the Peace Country. She married Rene Loiselle on September 28, 1944 and they lived at the Napolean Loiselle Place on Reasbeck Road for twelve years. They moved to Dawson Creek in 1956, first living on the hill and then moving to Fynn's Corner where they stayed for over fifty years. Regina liked to entertain and to be entertained, whether it was small family gathering or a large get together, she could be seen laughing or smiling at the antics in the room. Regina was predeceased by her husband Rene, sons Glen and Eddie, her parents Sebastian and Frances Wangler, brothers John, Joe, and Ted, sisters Kate Usselman, Rose Cousins, Pauline Stewart, Mary Marion, and Francis Tracy. Regina is survived by her sons; Ron (Judy) and family, Lorne, daughter Linda and family, her brother Tony (Fern), and her sister Julia Irvine, along with many nieces, nephews, and their families. A Celebration of Regina's Life was held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM from Reynars Funeral Chapel. Bev Dunsmore officiated.
