Obituary of Gregory Lee Herman

On December 26, 2015, Gregory Lee Herman (Greg), of Okotoks, AB, peacefully passed away in High River Hospital after a heroic battle with cancer. He was 55. Greg was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Greg was predeceased by his parents Bob and Vonnie Herman, nephew Kyle Herman, and nephew Carsten Herman. He is survived by his wife Elsa Herman, son Travis Herman (Jody Herman) and kids Rogan, Gibson, Samantha, and Kenneth, daughter Sarah Morris (Jay Morris) and kids Maesa, Gianna, and Angelina, brother Grant Herman (Karen Herman) and family, sister Danita Nastrom (Ken Nastrom) and family, brother Glenn Herman (Becky Herman) and family. Greg was born in Riverton, Wyoming on September 11, 1960. His family moved to the Peace Country in 1966 where he spent most of his life. His career in the oilfield took them to many places with many adventures along the way. Greg touched many lives. Anyone that knew Greg knew that he brought joy into the room with his sense of humor, "punny" ways and love for people. He will be greatly missed.
