Obituary of Ernest Alderic Merasty
Ernest Merasty 1930 - 2016 Ernest Alderic Merasty, resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia passed away in Vancouver, British Columbia on April 1, 2016 at 85 years of age. He was born June 2, 1930 in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. Ernest was cremated and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Father Andrew Takach will officiate.
Ernest was predeceased by Shannon Longbotham, Eddie Merasty, Kent Nornberg and Elsie Merasty. Ernest is survived by children Debbie Merasty, Sherry Nornberg, Bonnie (Maarten) Visser, and a daughter of his heart Shirley Nash (Terry Paterson), daughter-in-law Pam Merasty, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
