Obituary of Logan Gerard Power

Logan Power, a lifelong resident of Dawson Creek, B.C. passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 10, 2016 in Dawson Creek at the age of 17 years. Logan was born on March 28, 1999 at the Dawson Creek Hospital, weighing 8 pounds 4 ounces to parents Terry and Wanda Power, and proud sister Mariah. His mom Wanda remembers each and every day throughout his life, he would never leave without saying goodbye and I love you. He cared so deeply for each of his family members, and wanted them to know it. Logan loved eating popcorn and watching movies, he loved watching the hunting/fishing channels, he loved his cat Diesel, and he was always curious about fixings. Logan was under trucks in the driveway with his dad Terry at a very early age. He was Terry's big helper. Terry said he lost his son and best friend that day. Logan had many interests and was good at them all. He loved hockey, soccer, archery, hunting, fishing, camping, and hanging out in the shed with all of his friends. Logan brought out the best in people and he brought people together. He would want each and everyone to do the same; to take time to care for each other, talk to your family members more and let them know how much you love them, be there for your friends, take a bad situation and make it good somehow, and most of all, look out for each other. Logan was predeceased by his grandfathers Gerard Cheeseman and Austin Power, as well as his cherished Uncle Randy Cheeseman. Logan is survived by his dad and best friend, Terry Power, his beautiful mother Wanda Power, his loving sister Mariah (Derek) Simlik and their extended family of Craig, Audra, Colin and Sara Simlik. He also leaves behind his grandmother Marie Cheeseman, Carl and Sharon Cheeseman and their daughter Sonya, Brian Cheeseman and his children Sam, Maria and MacKenzie and Auntie Trudy, Karen Cheeseman, Paula Cheeseman and Donald Penny and their children Ryan (Stephanie) and their daughter Naomi, grandmother Sarah Power, Priscilla and Dave Brown, Judy Power and son Mark, Fred and Lorraine Power and their children Lisa and Chad, Clyde and Cecilia Power and their children Jonathon and Bradley, Tom and Regina Power and their children Brittney and Nicholas, Glenn and Diane Power and their children Austin and Kristen, as well as many extended family and all of his friends.
