Obituary of Cynthia Dawn Joseph

It is with great sadness, that we say goodbye to our daughter, mother, sister, auntie and friend, Cynthia Joseph. Cynthia passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in Chetwynd, B.C. at the age of 27 years. Cynthia Dawn Joseph was born on January 17, 1989 in Fort St. James to parents Darlene and Michael. She was of Carrier and Cree heritage and was always proud of where she came from. Cynthia lived in Prince George, Nelson, Victoria, and has resided in Chetwynd for the past 16 years. She was the second oldest child with her siblings, Charmaine, Michelle, Janette, Dillion, Chase and Keifer. For all those that were fortunate enough to call Cynthia a friend, she embraced them like her family. Her family was her circle and her love for every person showed through her energetic zest for life. It was important to her to keep smiling and spread love within her family. Cynthia was an amazing mother who loved her four babies, Chanen Michael Johnny Joseph, Keilan James Chase Joseph, Jaiden Crosby Dawn Courtorielle, and Brielle Diana Rose Courtorielle. She was someone who found happiness even during her down days. She was known for her big, beautiful, contagious smile. Cynthia was more than a daughter, a sister, and a loving mother to her babies, she was also a strong mother figure to her brothers. Cynthia's siblings loved her very much and have many fond memories of her. They remember her as a beautiful sister. She was always a supportive cheerleader for others and shared everyone's humour, even if it was sarcastic and laughing at oneself. She was also a very independent woman and it started to show at an early age. Her perseverance and stubbornness successfully carried her through life. Cynthia was loved by many and has shared so many memories with many friends and family. A Wake was held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 6:00 pm at 5156 Cottonwood Court #4, Chetwynd, B.C.
