Obituary of Alvina Soloshy

Alvina Soloshy, a long time resident of Chetwynd, BC, passed away with family by her side on Friday, November 25, 2016 in Dawson Creek, BC at the age of 68 years. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Chetwynd Fellowship Baptist Church. A visitation was held prior to the service at 12:00 pm. Pastor George Rowe officiated, interment followed in the Tuscoola Mountain Cemetery. Alvina is survived by her brothers and sisters Loretta Calliou, Phillip Ghostkeeper, Wilfred (Linda) Ghostkeeper, Brenda (Charlie) Seymour. Her children Darren Cameron, Duayne (Melanie) Ghostkeeper, Donalda (Bill) Oliver, Stephen (Danielle) Soloshy. Her Grandchildren Riley (Kyllie) Thomson, Rebecca (Tom) Cochrane, Samantha, Kristen and Tyler Ghostkeeper, Kayce Ghostkeeper-Gonyou, Natasha Tupper (Jeff), Kenzie, Annabelle and Bryanna Soloshy, Mitchell and Fraser Oliver. Great grandchildren Brinley Thomson and Aurora Cochrane. And many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Alvina was predeceased by her parents Mary and Nelson Ghostkeeper, Brother Patrick (Monica) Ghostkeeper, sisters Gail Ghostkeeper and Caroline (John) McRobbie, nephew Cody Ghostkeeper and grandson Bobby-Darren Cameron.
