Obituary of Mary Lillian Martin

Mary Lillian Martin (McKay) was born on January 26, 1933 in Regina Beach Saskatchewan and was 83 when she passed away on Thursday, December 8 in Chetwynd, British Columbia. She was the second of 5 children. While we know that she is at peace and that her struggles are at an end, there is pain and sadness. But even though she is gone, she has left the legacy of her love and perseverance. The ways she touched our lives will remain. Mary was a gentle soul who always had time to help out anyone in need. There are many she considered her a part of their extended family and who will miss her very much. Mary never wanted any thanks for the help she gave people and only asked that you give help to others in return. Her kind and gentle nature was such that she touched many souls in her time with us. Her time amongst us was too short and she will be missed. Mary was blessed with a wonderful family. She had 5 children, 2 boys - Lyle and Garry (both deceased) and 3 girls Valerie, Sherry and Darla. She was grandma to 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Mary was cremated and her urn will be laid to rest in Regina Beach, Saskatchewan at a later date. I am gone, free from my pain My message is to those who do remain I am now free from my strife You now must move on with your life Do not remember with grief and sadness` I would prefer memories of love and gladness I will watching you all from above And will be sending you all my endless love
