Obituary of Leona Vina Courtoreille
Leona Courtoreille, a resident of Prince George, B.C. passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 in Prince George at the age of 54 years.
Leona was born on November 15, 1962 in Pouce Coupe, B.C. to parents Celestin (Prince) and Eliza Courtoreille.
Leona was predeceased by her parents Prince and Eliza, her sisters: Erna Apsassin, Mabel Harvey, Rita Glover, and Lena Courtoreille, and her brothers: Robert Courtoreille, Kenny Courtoreille, Burl Courtoreille, and Ronnie Courtoreille.
Leona is survived by her sons Joe and Jett Courtoreille, her sisters: Yvonne (Louis) Courtoreille, Suzanna (Dan) Raspberry, Sandra Fuchs, Linda (Greg) Prince, and Donna (Wally) Courtoreille, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A Wake was held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 7:00 PM at the Saulteau First Nations Community Centre, Moberly Lake, B.C.
A Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Saulteau First Nations Community Centre. Pastor Bill Evans officiated. Cremation followed. Interment will be held at a later date.
