Obituary of Bill John Livingstone

William John Livingstone known as Bill was born on January 29th, 1957, in Dawson Creek BC to parents John and Mona Livingstone. Bill was the oldest out of four children. Laura was the second child, Robert (Bobdog) was the third. Many years later, the youngest brother Eddie would complete their family. Bill lived in the Progress area for many years with his family before moving to Chetwynd. Moving to Chetwynd may have seemed like an idea at the time however if John & Mona knew what kind of mischief their son was going to cause, they may have kept Bill in the bush where he loved and belonged. Grandpa was known for his wild and mischievous ways of living life, right as a young child to his adult life. He was not exactly known for his prime and proper ways. He loved nothing more then creating a good story that involved bending the rules. To everyones surprise Bill fell in love and married his best friends sister, Julie Wagoner. They married May 6, 1978. Soon after they had their first son, Archie Livingstone. Soon to follow was Ellen, Gordie and last but not least Jamie. Bill moved his family to Lone Prairie where they lived their hillbilly life. The hillbilly lifestyle is what made him the happiest, and made him who he was. Grandpa worked hard and played hard, but he always supported his family through many different jobs operating equipment in the bush. On November 17th, 1989 Bill lost his wife unexpectedly and became a single father of four. With the help of Julies sister and brother in law, Vivian and Clem and many others, Bill moved his children to town where they made a new life in the big city of Chetwynd. Ellen gave him his first granddaughter, Julie Ann Hermans. Two years lather Bill was introduced to his second granddaughter Destiny Hauber. In 2003 the third granddaughter was born, Morgen Hauber. In 2010 Jamie gave him his youngest granddaughter, his crazy little Evelyn. Everyone of his grandkids holds a very special place in his heart. He loved and was so very proud of his children and grandkids. Grandpa may be gone but him and his crazy hillbilly stories will never be forgotten. Grandpa we love you dearly. Bill was taken from us suddenly on Friday, September 29, 2017 in Chetwynd at the age of 60 years. Bill left behind to mourn his younger brother; Bobdog, his children; Archie, Ellen, Gordie and Jamie.
