Obituary of Carrie Leigh Swain
Carrie Swain, a lifelong resident of Dawson Creek, B.C. passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Dawson Creek & District Hospital, at the age of 57 years.
Carrie is survived by her loving Husband of 22 years; Randy Swain,Children; Jillian Onychuk, Janna Onychuk, Spencer Onychuk (Wendy Hingley), Kelsie Swain, Stepsons; Sheldon Swain, Joe Swain, Grandchildren; Cash Southern, Gracee Southern, Kayde Onychuk, Carter Onychuk, Parents; Fred and Dorthy Strasky, Siblings; Shane Strasky (Sophie and Sawyer), Danny (Tracy) Strasky (Brennan and Keaton), Connie and Werner Schmakeit (Lene and Lannah).
With respect to Carrie's wishes no formal funeral service will be held. Interment will be held in the Sunrise Valley Mountain View Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, for friends so wishing donations may be made in memory of Carrie to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada BC/Yukon Region 303-1401 West Broadway, Vancouver, B.C. V6H-1H6 or The Masonic Community Charities Fund Cancer Car Program 1495 West Eighth Avenue Vancouver, B.C. V6H-1C9.
