Obituary of Harriette Mary Kristoffy

Harriette Mary Paquette, was born on April 19, 1947 in Moberly Lake, B.C. to Maurice and Eva Paquette. She was the youngest girl of 14 children and lived her early years in Moberly Lake. She married Steve Kristoffy Sr. in Pouce Coupe B.C. and lived many years in the Lower Mainland. Her first child Marion was born May 7, 1967 and Steven followed on August 11, 1972. Harriettes family meant the world to her, birthdays, and holiday feasts put on by her were truly loving times for her and for all of us. Her dinners not only were for family but included many friends. She taught a few how to make her famous cabbage rolls. Not sure if they will ever match up to hers but we can at least try. You could always count on Harriette for her generosity, the latest info on the goings on around town, a place to sleep and always something to eat. She was always a good listener and many people went to her for guidance. Being a single mom for many years she was a great example of love and strength and what it truly means to be a MOM. She raised her kids on a meager income but there was never a shortage of food, clothing, and love. Her proudest moments were her kids, grandchildren and her precious great grandchild Braylee Jones. In our busy lives and growing families, we sometimes cant visit as often as we would like to. We always knew that when needed we could turn to Harriette for anything and she would help in any way she could. We love you Harriette. Youll be greatly missed.
