Obituary of Joseph Gordon "Joe" Querin

Joe Querin, resident of Beaverlodge and formally of Rolla, BC, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the age of 75. On September 17, 1942, Joseph Gordon was one of seven children born to Gerald and Maggie Querin. After being raised and attending school in Rolla, Joe took up farming and trucking. Later in Joe's life, he took the great pride in helping construct The Links at Priddis Greens Golf Course. He finished his working livelihood in the oilfield construction industry. In Joe's spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, old time music and dancing. Predeceased by his mother Margaret, father Gerald, siblings Roger, Gerald. and Shirley; he was outlived by siblings John (Barb), Marie, and Harold and extended family. Joe is survived by his sons, Gary (Karen) and Delvon (Shallan), grandchildren Donovan (Angelina), Bradin, Bethany and Michelle, and great-grandson Jackson. He also leaves behind specials friends: Howard Prier, Leonard Peterat, Mike Goodwin, and Greta Doherty. Joe was a cherished son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
