Obituary of Patricia Petersen

Patricia Petersen, a long time resident of Rolla, B.C. passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Rotary Manor, Dawson Creek, B.C. at the age of 76 years. Pat was born on March 17, 1941 in Vancouver, BC. She was the 7th child of eight born to Ivy and Edward Noonan.Growing up Pat and her sisters went swimming and bike riding. Many memories were made in her moms kitchen cooking and visiting. She attended school in Duncan and Newton, B.C and then went on to nursing school in Victoria, B.C. Pat married Robert Petersen on April 5, 1965 and they had two children Luke and Kathleen Petersen. Pat loved time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She was an awesome cook and was able to whip up a great branding and thrashing meal whenever needed. She enjoyed swimming and quilting with friends and family. She was a longtime member of Tops and she loved all the activities and good friends she made. Pat enjoyed Sunday morning meetings and Wednesday bible study with her friends. Pat was predeceased by her Parents; Ivy and Edward Noonan, Brothers; John Blatchford, Delman Noonan, Sisters; Dorthy Cummings and Donna Mamoka. Pat is survived by her loving Husband; of 52 years, Bob, Son; Luke (Jessie), Daughter; Kathy, Grandchildren; Jakob, Abbie, Jared, and many relatives and dear friends. Pats family would like to invite everyone to come celebrate Pats life in her garden for a Tea on July 7, 2018 between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
