Obituary of Leona Fitch
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leona Fitch, longtime resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the age of 87 years. Leona is lovingly remembered by her children Johnny (Tish) Mowatt, Monty (Debbie) Mowatt, Rio (Liz) Fitch, Naomi (Ron) Bassett, Reno (Kate) Fitch, and Nova (Robert) Sturt; her stepchildren Caroline Beadle, Dave (Debbie) Fitch and Lefty (Lourdes) Fitch; 29 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. A memorial service conducted by Mike Broadway was held for Leona on February 6, 2021 with interment in The Rolla Cemetery.
