Obituary of Bob Lord

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Lord, Long-time resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, on Thursday, March 25, 2021, in Dawson Creek, BC at the age of 75 years. On a sunny March 25th afternoon we said our final goodbyes to a wonderful and well loved husband, dad, grandpa, great grandpa and friend. If you were one of the many students that passed through the Northern Lights College welding program over his 33 years there, we hope you know how much those days meant to him, as did his co workers. Bob was very humble, things were just things and there was nothing that a little tlc, elbow grease or a cold beer couldnt fix. His love for his family, motorcycles, old cars and a good BS session were what he cherished most. His bike rides took him on plenty of great adventures across Canada and the U.S. with many great companions. A memorial ride and a gathering of fellowship will be held when our weather is warmer and we can all celebrate how fortunate we were to have known him. Everyone will be welcome.
