Obituary of Gary Moore

Gary Franklin Moore, passed away in Dawson Creek, BC on May 13, 2021 at 85 years of age. Gary was born in Grande Prairie, Alberta on June 23, 1935. Gary will be remembered for his kindness, soft-spoken voice and was always a gentleman. Gary lived most of his life in the Peace River Country, Texas, and Arizona. He was an outfitter, logger, bush pilot, rancher, raised quarter horse, but most of all, he was a family man. He was predeceased by his son Gordie Moore, his parents Gordon and Helen Moore, brother Kenny Moore, and sister Margie Asleson. He is survived by his partner Kathy; son Danny Moore; daughter Connie (Dave) Meadows; step-daughters Terry (Greg), Brenda (John), and Jody (Barry); step-children Chyanne (Darren) and Danny; daughter-in-law Diane Moore; grandchildren Clayton (Steff), Chelsea (Tanner), Tyler (Christy), Charleigh (Tyson), Timber (Valery), Tate, Rob (Jen), Terry, Erin (Rob), Kim (Jason), Keri, and Kori; brother Dennys Moore (MaryAnne); sister Beverly Sterling; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Gary will be missed by all but was blessed that he had a rich and long life and was so loved by family and friends. Memories will keep him with us forever. A private family graveside service will be held with a live stream available on this page for anyone not able to attend. The live stream will take place on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 1:00pm.
