Obituary of Bob Sipe

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Robert Charles (Bob) Sipe on June 16, 2021 at 92 years of age. Born in Chipman, Alberta, on June 13, 1929, Bob was raised on the family farm in Demmitt, Alberta. He married Ruby (Bulley) in 1951, and settled in Gundy, BC to raise four children. After working 18 years for the NAR railway, Bob then joined the Rock & Tunnel Workers Union and worked at the WAC Bennet Dam until 1972. Up to 1979, Bob split his time between running the family farm in Summer and running seismic line in winter. Finally retiring and moving from the family farm to Dawson Creek in 2011, Bob and Ruby enjoyed visits with friends and family alike, and always had a story to tell. Bob is predeceased by his wife Ruby, son Graydon, parents Graydon & Emma, brother Roddy, and sister Margaret. He is survived by his sons Robert and Robin, daughter Cathy, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him and benefitted from his easy nature and willing help unconditionally offered. Very Respectfully, Reynars Funeral Home & Crematorium
