Obituary of Corinne Weightman

Jan 30th, 1930-Nov 23rd, 2021 It is with great sadness we acknowledge the passing of Doris Corinne Weightman. Corinne was born in Carlyle Saskatchewan to parents Jack and Violet (Nee Thompson) Rutherford. Corinne was a carefree child who loved living on the farm and the daily adventures of farm life. In her teen years Corinne grew restless for new surroundings and headed to BC. After living in Vancouver for a short time she moved to Chetwynd where she met Gerry Mounce. Gerry and Corinne created many wonderful memories during their 53 years together. They could be found rodeoing, fishing, camping and quadding with friends. In the latter years they loved to floor curl, travel to local music festivals and their favourite, visiting with family and friends. Family was very important to Corinne; she never missed an opportunity to tell everyone how much she loved them. We will miss her laughter and smile; she is loved by many. Corinne will be missed by her spouse and partner Gerry Mounce, her sons Barry (Helen), Dennis (Helene), Brian (Eileen), Daughter in Law Venessa and Gerrys children, Guy (Kathy), Karla (Rick), Lorraine (Wayne). Corinne is loved and will be missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Corinne was predeceased by her sons Robert and Corky. A service will be held at a later date, at Corinnes request.
